Firstly, we would like to thank each and everyone of our backers for their unwavering support and belief in AirBolt. You guys are incredible!
Since the campaign has gone live, there have been concerns from some backers who have brought to our attention that shipping costs are too high. We would like to take this opportunity to explain ourselves in the most honest and open way possible.
- We are a startup based in Australia and while this does offer us unique advantages and gives us access to some of the best talent in the world, the geographical distance of Australia from most countries makes shipping and logistics particularly difficult and more expensive than from other locations.
- We started out by looking at the best solutions available for freight that will allow us to ensure that your AirBolt gets to you safely and securely. This assurance is not necessarily the cheapest option. And while there are undoubtedly other products/companies that do offer cheap or free shipping, the allowance for this cost is often built into the price that you are paying for that product. We wanted to be as transparent with pricing as possible. AirBolt is being offered to our loyal backers at the absolute lowest price because you are helping us lay the foundations of AirBolt's true potential to revolutionize travel. The shipping component again is as transparent as we could make it.
- Our commitment to you is to be honest and open along every step of the way. We are always listening to your feedback and we go through each individual comment and message you guys send and discuss options to come up with the best outcome possible.
- We are currently placing shipping on a high priority and searching for the right partners that can offer us the best rates globally. Rest assured, if we manage to find a more cost effective way to get AirBolt into your hands, we pass on any savings back to you - simple as that!
Since the campaign went live, we have had so many of you wonderful backers get back to us with some very valid and useful points that is helping us improve AirBolt every day! We are not some faceless corporation that you can't approach. We are just a group of people who believe in a product so much that we decided to take it upon our own hands to build it!
